Shipping Policy

Thanks for purchasing our products at (“Website”) operated by Ethical Living.

EarthBased currently delivers Pan-India, with a few exceptions (based on certains vendor shipping policy and products) that are currently available only in city of manufacture (as indicated in the under each product).

Pan India:

We charge a flat shipping fee of INR 50 per item.

Delivery Time

Order deliveries will be made between 9 am – 8 pm Monday – Saturday.

Shipping Time

  • Our products are typically delivered in 5-7 business days.
  • Due to the nature of products and or the composition of products, certain vendors may have different delivery times for their products. Please refer to the shipping table at the end of this page.
  • Products are delivered Monday through Saturday between 8am to 9pm, except on public holidays.
  • Please note: Covid-19 containment zone restrictions may cause further delays.

Returns & Refunds

In order to be eligible for a refund, you have to return the product within 7 (seven) calendar days of your purchase. The product must be in the same condition that you receive it and must not be damaged in any way. However, this is not applicable for perishable products which includes all food items listed on the Website.

After we receive your item, our team of professionals will inspect it and process your refund. The money will be refunded to the original payment method you have used during the purchase. For credit card payments, a refund may take 5 (five) to 10 (ten) business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.

If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 7 (seven) calendar days have passed, you may not be eligible for a refund.

Please note that while EarthBased would like to ensure that returns, refunds, and cancellations are available to the users of the Website, the Company has to place certain restrictions on the same in order to meet its business, legal and contractual obligations.

Return of products would be subject to each individual vendor’s Return policies.

Products that can be returned/replaced:

(a) You receive a faulty or defective product.

(b) You receive a product that is different from what you ordered.

(c) You receive a product that looks different from how it appeared on the product page.

(d) If the product does not fit well (size issues), you may be allowed to return or replace the product (Subject to Vendor’s Return Policy).

Products that cannot be returned/ replaced:

(a) If a request for a return/replacement has not been sent to [email protected] within 7 (seven) days of receiving the product.

(b) Items that have been worn, washed or soiled

(c) Certain consumable products like food and beverages, bath and beauty products.

(d) Certain custom-made products.


In case of replacement, it is subject to the availability of stock. In case a replacement may not be available, we will refund you the full amount.

Replacement is subject to each individual vendor’s replacement policy.


A cancellation will only be accepted if your order has not been shipped by the vendor from their warehouse.

We request you to inform us about any cancellations at the earliest via email at [email protected]

If the shipment has been dispatched by the vendor and you still wish to proceed with the cancellation request, the shipping charges for dispatch and return will both be deducted from the refund amount and the remaining amount will be refunded subject to the vendor’s return policy. The refund will be processed to the same account from which the payment was made within 2 (two) working days of our vendors receiving the products back and verifying them. It may take up to 7 (seven) business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

For cancellations made prior to dispatch, the money will be refunded to you within 7 (seven) working days after the cancellation request is confirmed by us (post confirmation by the Vendor that the product is not shipped).


We process refunds once the products have been received and verified by our vendors. For payments done through credit or debit cards or net banking, the refund will be processed to the same account from which the payment was made within 2 working days of our vendors receiving the products back and verifying them and agreeing that the customer is eligible for a refund. It may take up to 7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

When raising a request for a refund/replacement/cancellation, make sure to include the following details in your email to (insert correct email address):

  • Order number;
  • Contact details;
  • A description of the issue you are facing;
  • Images of the product in case of a damaged or incorrect product, and
  • The resolution you are seeking.


Return, refunds, or cancellations may also vary from brand to brand or seller/vendor to seller/vendor, in which case such goods sold thereunder will have specific guidelines which will determine the terms and conditions related to return, refunds, or cancellations. In each such case, the specific policy of each brand and/or the vendor may prevail over this (our) policy.
